5 months agoToronto Blue Jays starter Trent Thornton allowed three runs on seven hits in five innings of work during a 4-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. Thornton struck out four batters while walking three. The 25-year-old has allowed at least three runs in four straight starts, which has led to his 4.78 ERA. Thornton is nothing more than waiver wire fodder, and at this point, he offers relatively nothing to fantasy managers. He is an arm to avoid as he takes on the Houston Astros in his next outing.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
