5/31:Monday was the final day of waiting needed to ensure that the Nationals held onto an extra year of control over Trea Turner. The only other questions that need to be answered in the affirmative in order for Turner to be called up to the parent club are - Is Turner ready to play at a Major League level? Is there a spot available for him to play? His fielding has been solid enough and the bat has delivered all season (.321/.385/.489 line with 38 R and 16 SB). His recent five-game hit streak has seen him accumulate nine hits, six being of the extra-base variety. In regards to the second question, Turner is currently blocked by the light-hitting Danny Espinosa - and that's putting it nicely. Expect the call to come this week. He's a must-add in all formats.--Robert Quast - RotoBaller
