4/20:After being diagnosed with a right wrist contusion from being smacked on the hand by Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr’s bat while attempting to throw out Cesar Hernandez on Wednesday, Travis d’Arnaud is sitting out Thursday night’s season finale with the Phillies. Although d’Arnaud expressed confidence he’d be fine to play tonight, he’s getting the chance to heal up anyway, but is still available to pinch hit if necessary. Catcher Rene Rivera will get the start behind the plate, and the Mets called up Kevin Plawecki to be the No. 2 catcher for now. It sounds as though he’ll be good to go in short order, but for a player with d’Arnaud’s injury history, nothing is certain. Make sure he’s not in your DFS lineup tonight.--Andrew Bua - RotoBaller
