4 months agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman/shortstop Thairo Estrada (wrist) is nearing a return to the lineup after going through a hitting progression, per manager Gabe Kapler. The 27-year-old has been on the mend since May 25 with a left wrist sprain, but he might only need a minimum stay on the 10-day injured list. Estrada was off to a fine start in 2023, hitting .301 with 30 runs scored, 6 homers, 17 RBI, and 13 stolen bases. Fantasy managers might be able to get the well-rounded infielder back in their lineups early next week without him requiring a rehab assignment. Stay tuned.--Joseph Barbati - RotoBaller
