Ted Ginn 2018 Outlook: Weekly Boom or Bust in 2018
6 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn posted a career high in receiving yards with 787 last season, and was just one reception away from tying his personal best of 54. With the addition of Cameron Meredith to an already crowded group of offensive weapons, Ginn could struggle to match his solid production over the past two years with the Saints. His big-play ability will keep him relevant in the fantasy world, but Ginn simply cannot be relied on as a consistent performer in an offense where he will likely be fourth or fifth in targets. The aging 33-year-old will need to maintain his impressive catch rate of 76 percent from last season if he is going to have similar fantasy success in 2018. Ginn holds the most value in best ball leagues, as owners won’t have to predict whether he will provide boom or bust production on a weekly basis. Temper expectations this year and draft Ginn around the 15th round if you are looking for some depth at the wide receiver position.
