7 months agoMinnesota Twins left-hander Taylor Rogers earned his second save in as many days as he nailed down a 4-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday. It wasn't smooth sailing as Rogers allowed one run on two hits while walking one and striking out one. Right-hander Blake Parker had been serving as the team's preferred ninth-inning option but reportedly was feeling under the weather this weekend, which may have led to the Twins using Rogers in the ninth the past two days. It has been hard to predict the Twins' bullpen this season but it stands to reason that Parker will remain the closer with Rogers getting the occasional save chances when the matchups are in his favor.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
