2/17:Los Angeles Angels designated hitter/starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (elbow) is hoping he can move to hitting off a tee in the next week. Ohtani is a two-way star that won American League Rookie of the Year in 2018, but he had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow and won't pitch at all in 2019. He also is unlikely to be ready to make his season debut as a DH until sometime in May, which drops his fantasy value quite a bit. The Japanese star still has plenty of power and can run, so he's worth stashing in the middle rounds. Keep a close eye on his progress this spring.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
