7 months agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman went 2-for-4 on Sunday, with both hits leaving the yard for solo home runs. Zimmerman tripled his home run output after entering the game with only one, and is now hitting a still-poor .203/.304/.390 this season. Zimmerman is a very streaky hitter so this could be the start of a run for him, but it could also be a blip for the 34-year-old. He's a deep league and NL-only first baseman right now.--Nate Green - RotoBaller
