Ryan McMahon Finding Power Stroke, Goes Deep Again
4 months agoColorado Rockies third baseman/second baseman Ryan McMahon went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer to help the team win a back-and-forth shootout on Saturday versus the New York Mets 10-7. The 28-year-old snapped an ice-cold 27-game homer-less skid in Friday's contest and has now gone yard in consecutive outings. McMahon has been virtually unplayable in fantasy away from Coors Field, hitting a paltry .178 (16-for-90) with just two bombs and seven RBI on the road. At home, however, the defensive-minded infielder is hitting a far more respectable .275 (25-for-91) with four blasts and 16 RBI. Fire McMahon up with confidence when he's playing at home, but it still doesn't leave him as much more than a borderline hold in shallow leagues being such a weak play half of the time.
