Romeo Doubs 2024 Outlook: Looking to Build on Impressive Playoff Run
6 months agoGreen Bay Packers' wide receiver Romeo Doubs is entering his third NFL season. Doubs finished 2023 as a back-end WR3, securing 59 catches for 674 yards and eight touchdowns. The Nevada product had an up-and-down season, but came alive in the playoffs as he posted a 6-151-1 line and a 4-83 line against two of the league's toughest defenses. While his target competition remains the same with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft all returning to Green Bay, Doubs and quarterback Jordan Love appear to have strong red-zone chemistry. If Love takes another step forward in his second full season as the starter, he could take Doubs with him. That being said, the target competition is tough barring no injuries and Doubs could be in line for another up-and-down season in the stat sheets. He is currently going in later rounds, and offers WR2 upside in the event that one or two of the Packers' weapons go down and he continues to build on his playoff success.
