7 months agoHouston Astros catcher Robinson Chirinos went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and one RBI in the Astros loss Sunday to the Rangers. The veteran catcher is off to a positive start this season and will continue to get the lions share of the work behind the plate for the Astros. Through 48 at-bats this season, Chirinos already has six doubles and is slugging .521. The 34-year-old is not a strong fantasy play but DFS owners could take advantage of his early-season success against left-handed pitching. Through 11 at-bats, Chirinos has four hits, two of them doubles, and slashed .366/.451/.662 against lefties two seasons ago. Otherwise, he is not a strong fantasy play in matchup-based leagues.--Joey C - RotoBaller
