6 months agoOakland Athletics outfielder Robbie Grossman reported to spring training on Friday after inking a one-year, $2 million deal. "They had an amazing season last year and I'm excited to be here," Grossman said. "They've got a great core of players here. There's a lot of talent here if you around at all the names." Grossman's signing means OF Nick Martini will have a veteran challenger for at-bats, as the two battle for the primary left fielder job. The Grossman signing doesn't mean the A's are moving on from Martini after he hit .373 for the team during their playoff run last September. The winner of the left field job is worth a look in deeper AL-only fantasy play.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
