Rhamondre Stevenson 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Fantasy Value Takes Small Hit With The Signing Of Zeke
1 year agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is coming off a top-7 PPR finish in 2022 despite scoring just six total touchdowns. His role in the passing game is what propelled him into a fantastic fantasy asset. His 5.2 targets per game were 3rd-most behind Austin Ekeler and Christian McCaffrey. Rhamondre was also efficient with his 210 carries in 2022. Per PlayerProfiler, he was third in Juke Rate, third in Evaded Tackles, and sixth in Yards Created per Touch. With Damien Harris no longer with the Patriots, Stevenson enters the season as New England's top running back. Still, the recent signing of former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott dings his fantasy value slightly. Zeke will complement Stevenson and is expected to be the Patriots' goal-line back. Stevenson's volume last season was similar to Aaron Jones', and there's a strong belief his opportunities will increase even more in his third NFL season with the Patriots. With Elliott on the Patriots, consider Rhambo a borderline RB1 in 2023, particularly in PPR formats.
