6 months agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman/designated hitter Renato Nunez flexed his muscle again in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Yankees, going 2-for-4 with a single, a three-run home run, and a strikeout. Nunez took Tommy Kahnle deep in the eighth inning for his 10th long ball of the season. The 25-year-old has hit for power but not average this season as his batting average now sits at .223. The low average and high strikeout rate (27.7%) render Nunez unusable in season-long leagues at this time, although he could be a cheap daily fantasy play in favorable matchups--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
