9/13:Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers mounted a strong comeback effort against Denver on Monday night, but he fell just short as the tying field goal try was blocked in the final seconds. Rivers had a mixed day as he struggled through the first three quarters of the game, missing multiple open receivers and seeming to be hamstrung by the playcalls he was receiving, but he turned it on in the fourth. With touchdown passes to Keenan Allen and Travis Benjamin, Rivers marched the Chargers to the doorstep and finished with a 3/1 TD/INT ratio, even if his yardage total of 192 was a little short. Expect him to continue to be a strong QB1 moving forward.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
