2 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph has said that quarterback Paxton Lynch (ankle) will "absolutely" start Week 17, if healthy. The team seems to really want to see Lynch play again before they have to head into an offseason where they will have to make decisions about their future at quarterback. Rumors are already popping up linking Denver to quarterbacks that are expected to enter free agency at the position. Having Lynch as close to healthy as possible is a key goal, because his mobility is one of the skills that the coaching staff seems to be excited about. Even if with the Chiefs having nothing to play for in Week 17, if Lynch winds up making the start, he'll be more of a low-end QB2 for anyone still with something on the line in fantasy.--Jamie Mellor
