4/21:Arizona Diamondbacks first basemanĀ Paul Goldschmidt struck out three times against the Padres Thursday night and continued his disappointing season at the plate. He did break a three-game hitless streak with a double, but his batting average remains well below his career average of .298. With just two home runs so far in 2017 and an average of .237, owners who drafted the Arizona slugger early will hope he breaks out of the slump sooner rather than later. On the bright side, he does have four stolen bases and could once again top the 30-steals mark this year.--Barry Leonard - RotoBaller
