Patrick Beverley 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley has proven to be an injury-prone player and he missed almost all of last season, but there's a lot to like about him ahead of 2018-19. He was cleared for full basketball activities at the start of June, three months ahead of schedule, which points to the fact that he's worked really hard on recovery and is fully healed from a microfracture and a meniscus surgery on his right knee. At least he better be because the 30-year old Chicago-native will start a contract year. He got off to a really nice start last October, averaging 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.7 steals in 11 games before the injury ruined his campaign. Beverley isn't a great scorer, but he's a 37.6 percent career shooter from deep, which makes him capable of getting 10-plus points each night. Combine that with all the peripheral stats and you have a really solid fantasy player.
