Outside of a guillotine attempt from Blanchfield in the first round, it was all Manon Fiorot for the majority of the fight, dominating Blanchfield in most exchanges. In 25 minutes of action, Blanchfield landed 130 significant strikes. The fight was initially scored a TKO win for Weidman but changed to a technical unanimous decision victory after the judges detected a foul eye poke in their video replay and consulted the scorecards. The finishing sequence came when Ruziboev poked Dumas in the eye. Ruziboev defeated Dumas via TKO to score his second consecutive first-round finish in the UFC. McKee is in his second stint in the UFC, as he went 0-2 in his first stint and is now 0-2 in his second stint. The Irishman tried to push Njokuani up against the fence and use his grappling, but on the feet, he was badly mismatched as McKee was outstruck 96-to-40 and was outstruck in all three rounds. Njokuani entered the bout on a three-fight losing streak, so he made the drop to welterweight to face McKee. Njokuani had success on the feet as he outstruck McKee in every single round, as the Irish fighter tried to push Njokuani up against the fence. Algeo entered the fight as a sizeable betting favorite, but early on, he got caught by a clean punch that rocked him. Once he was rocked, Nelson swarmed him landing heavy shots which forced the ref to jump in and stopped the fight at the four-minute mark of the first round. Nelson was one of the bigger underdogs on the card, but from the get-go, he stormed Algeo landing heavy shots and had him wobbled. After Nelson landed more shots, the ref jumped in to stop the fight at the four-minute mark of the first round.
