15 hours agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (ankle) remains out for Wednesday's matchup with Phoenix. This will be there veteran's third consecutive absence after tweaking his ankle during a recent meeting with the New York Knicks. With that said, his next chance to return will be Friday against Minnesota. However, Reggie Jackson, coming off a 15-point performance on Monday versus Memphis, will remain a worthwhile DFS option.Source: Vinny Benedetto
15 hours agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (ribs) has shaken off a questionable tag and will be in the lineup on Wednesday against Detroit. Health issues have limited Gobert to only three outings across the last seven games, but he will make his third consecutive appearance on Wednesday. The French giant should have a good game against a mediocre rebounding team that allows centers to shoot 59.2 percent from the field. Gobert bagged 19 points and 16 rebounds against the Pistons in this season's first head-to-head matchup in January.Source: NBA Injury Report
15 hours agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) will play on Wednesday versus the Memphis Grizzlies. James didn't suit up for Tuesday's double-overtime win over the Bucks because of his nagging ankle injury. However, the Lakers need him healthy for the postseason, so he got a night off for the first half of back-to-back contests. The 39-year-old has averaged 24.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 3.0 steals in two meetings with Memphis this season. Yet, with Anthony Davis (knee) sidelined, James could be more productive.Source: Jovan Buha
15 hours agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (knee) will sit out Wednesday's game against Memphis. This should come as a surprise to no one after Davis put in a mammoth of an effort across a career-high 52 minutes in a double-overtime win against Milwaukee on Tuesday. Jaxson Hayes will pick up his fourth start of the year in Davis' stead. He's averaged 10.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in the role and should do well against a weak Memphis squad that has the league's third-lowest rebounding rate.Source: NBA Injury Report
15 hours agoSan Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama (ankle) will play on Wednesday versus Utah. He wasn't available for Monday's meeting with the Phoenix Suns and was deemed questionable heading into this contest. But the rookie participated in shootaround on Wednesday morning, which was a good sign regarding his chance to suit up. Wembanyama has dominated the Jazz in two meetings this season, averaging 18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 5.0 blocks. With that in mind, his return will mean less work for Zach Collins, who had 18 points in 30 minutes on Monday.Source: Sarah Todd
16 hours agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards (finger) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against Detroit. He's been upgraded from probable to available. Edwards hurt his left middle finger last week in a clash with Utah but has remained in the lineup. The Timberwolves star has struggled with his shooting in the last couple of games, but facing off against a bad team like the Pistons should help Edwards find his stroke again. He had 27 points in 33 minutes with five rebounds and eight assists in this season's first head-to-head meeting.Source: NBA Injury Report
16 hours agoIndiana Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith (knee) will rejoin the action on Wednesday versus Chicago. He's back after missing one game with a bruised knee. Nesmith's form has been a bit up and down lately, but he's still had a decent month by posting 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks. Meeting a defensively mediocre team like the Bulls could help Nesmith break out of his shooting slump -- the 24-year-old has hit only 40.8 percent of his shots in March.Source: NBA Injury Report
16 hours agoNew York Knicks guard/forward Alec Burks (shoulder) will miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday versus Toronto. There was initially hope of him returning when the team listed him as questionable for the game, but Burks has now been downgraded to out. Burks' absence leaves the Knicks without a good scoring option off the bench. He's averaged around 15 minutes a night in the Big Apple, and Bojan Bogdanovic will have a chance to get some extra action off the Knicks bench without Burks.Source: Steve Popper
16 hours agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is officially available for Wednesday's matchup against Toronto. After recovering from ankle surgery, he will make his first appearance since Dec. 8. New York's defensive anchor played a massive role at the start of the campaign, but it's likely he will return with some kind of a minutes restriction, which will limit his fantasy value on Wednesday. Robinson will eat into the minutes of Isaiah Hartenstein, who's been the Knicks' starter in the middle during his absence.Source: The New York Post
16 hours agoAtlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (back) will play in Wednesday's matchup against Portland. He landed on the initial injury report with a sore back and a questionable designation, but the 2022 All-Star has now been cleared to play. Murray has been a beast for fantasy managers throughout the month, averaging 25.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 3.8 three-point makes. He's already faced the Trail Blazers once in March, and Murray went off for 40 points in the contest. A similar performance on Wednesday isn't out of the question, with Trae Young (finger) and Jalen Johnson (ankle) still absent and Murray getting a lot of shots because of it.Source: Atlanta Hawks
16 hours agoMemphis Grizzlies guard/forward John Konchar (heel) won't return to the lineup on Wednesday versus the Lakers. The team has downgraded Konchar from doubtful to out, meaning he sits out a second consecutive contest. With Luke Kennard (personal) also unavailable, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Jordan Goodwin get extra work on the Grizzlies backcourt. Both have gotten some playing time as starters recently, although Goodwin didn't see any action in the last game against Denver, and it's very difficult to predict how the rotation will work out on Wednesday.Source: Mike Trudell
17 hours agoMemphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) will be out for a ninth consecutive game on Wednesday versus the Lakers. He remains on the shelf with a left patellar problem, with the team downgrading him from doubtful to out. Williams Jr.'s absence has secured significant roles in the rotation for GG Jackson II and Jake LaRavia. The young Grizzlies should relish the opportunity to pit their talents against LeBron James (ankle), who is expected to return to the Lakers lineup on Wednesday.Source: Mike Trudell
17 hours agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) is expected to play on Thursday in New Orleans. The multi-time MVP has been plagued by left hamstring tendinopathy over the last few weeks. However, the injury appears to be getting better, considering he logged 46 minutes in Tuesday's double-overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. But Milwaukee has a few relatively easy matchups on the horizon, meaning he may get a night off heading toward the postseason. With that in mind, Antetokounmpo amassed 30 points, 12 boards, and two blocks against the Pelicans the first time these clubs met earlier in the season, keeping him on the radar for DFS managers on Thursday night.Source: Eric Nehm
17 hours agoChicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against Indiana. The team has upgraded him from questionable to available as Caruso continues to play through an ankle problem. The 30-year-old has saved some of his best performances of the season for the Pacers. He has averaged 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.5 steals across three games against them, with 60 percent shooting from deep.Source: Cody Westerlund
17 hours agoChicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (illness) has been cleared to play on Wednesday versus Indiana. He was a late addition to the injury report with an upper respiratory illness but has shaken it off to keep his ironman streak going -- Dosunmu hasn't missed a game since early November. The 24-year-old has taken big steps in his development in recent months and enters Wednesday's action averaging 17.1 points and 5.5 assists for March. Indiana's defense has improved lately, but the team continues to play with a very high pace, which makes this a really good fantasy matchup for Dosunmu and the Bulls.Source: Cody Westerlund
