Otto Porter Jr. 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoChicago Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr. was traded midseason last year from the sinking ship that is the Washington Wizards to the...less sinking ship that is the Bulls? Chicago is still likely a season or two away from being a playoff squad, but adding a player like Porter can be huge for their development. Porter can score when asked to and shoots well from deep while also grabbing five-ish rebounds per game to help his team out. He’s an ideal third-best player on a team and also an ideal complementary piece for fantasy owners because he does a little bit of everything. Porter will be used as a spot up threat more often in Chicago than he was in Washington, which should help him reach high levels of efficiency this year. Porter is a top-60 fantasy option and could go in the top-50 in some builds or to owners who want a solid, all-around player. The 2019-2020 season could be the best of Porter’s career if the Bulls improve as much in real life as they appear to have improved on paper.
