1 year agoIt took nearly three weeks, but Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera recorded his first home run of the month in a 4-0 victory over the New York Mets. Hosting the division rival Wednesday night, Herrera batted sixth and started in left field, smacking a two-run home run in the fourth inning to give his club a more comfortable lead. The 26-year-old has had his worst offensive month of the season, batting just .105 with only four hits in 38 plate appearances.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
