6 months agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel left Saturday's game early after he fouled a pitch off of his left eye. The ball was fouled into the dirt before it kicked up off of his foot and hit him just above the eye. Senzel had swelling and wound up needing a few stitches after leaving the game. The injury can be considered minor, for now. Manager David Bell told reporters, "His eye is fine. Nothing serious, fortunately he closed his eye in time." Fantasy owners can consider Senzel day-to-day for the time being. The rookie star is hitting .266 with six homers in 37 games.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
