8/13:Detroit Tigers third baseman Nicholas Castellanos is starting to work out in right field, although he's weeks away from playing the position in a game. With Detroit out of contention, they are prepping for the future, which means they plan on calling up infielder Jeimer Candelario -- who was acquired in a trade with the Cubs at the deadline -- to play every day down the stretch. Castellanos has had stretches of hot hitting, but fantasy owners continue to wait on his breakout season. He's currently hitting .245 with 16 long balls and 65 RBI, leaving plenty to be desired. However, gaining outfield eligibility down the stretch will be huge for next season, potentially making him an excellent value pick in 2017 if his breakout finally does come. Candelario doesn't have much left to prove on the farm, as he's hit a combined .261 with 14 homers in three minor league stops this year. Now is the time to stash the corner infield prospect in deep mixed, AL-only and dynasty leagues if he's still available.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
