4 weeks agoChicago Cubs outfielder Nicholas Castellanos hit his 57th double of the year in a 2-1 loss to the Cardinals on Friday afternoon. The double is significant as it marks the first time a right-hander has hit that many doubles since Billy Herman hit 57 for the Cubs in 1936. It looks like Castellanos was the steal of the trade deadline as he's absolutely mashed since arriving in Chicago on August 1 and has now hit 15 home runs in his 206 plate appearances with the Cubs.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
