4/23:After John Lackey gave up six runs before getting pulled in the fifth inning, the Cubs' bullpen was summoned and simply couldn’t stop the bleeding. The first man up was Trevor Cahill, who was making his team-leading eighth appearance out of the bullpen. Cahill wasn’t much better than his predecessor, giving up three runs before getting the final out of the sixth. The next two pitchers didn’t fare much better, as Neil Ramirez and Clayton Richard both gave up two runs on two hits. The game was especially disappointing for Ramirez, who had given up just one hit in four innings of work this season.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
