7/17:The Minnesota Twins are currently only 1.5 games back in the AL Central, which makes it unlikely that they will be sellers at the trade deadline. According to reports, starting pitcher Ervin Santana and closer Brandon Kintzler have both drawn some interest from other teams but the Twins are expected to keep them, for now. Of course, that could all change if the Twins fall behind the division-leading Cleveland Indians before the July 31 trade deadline. The Twins may wind up surprising by being buyers at the deadline as they have been rumored to have interest in Sonny Gray and Dan Straily. Either way, it shapes up as an interesting trade deadline for Twins fans.--Matt Terelle - Rotoballer
