Mike Wallace 2018 Outlook: Better in Best Ball
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Mike Wallace went from being the most-targeted player in a mediocre offense (16% target share) to a likely fourth option on a Super Bowl champion. Wallace upgraded his team situation but will surely see a downtick in usage behind receivers Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, and tight end Zach Ertz. Wallace proved he still has big-play ability, averaging 14.4 yards per reception. However, he failed to average even 50 yards per game in Baltimore and will see less action as an Eagle. He could be considered a bye-week fill-in or flex option in deep leagues, but is best suited as a fifth or sixth WR in best-ball leagues.
