7 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha did not pitch well in the first game of a double header against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits and three walks. He struck out three and allowed a home run. Wacha took the loss to drop his record to 3-2 and his ERA went up to 5.59. He's shown flashes of upside here and there, but this season has mostly been a struggle for Wacha so far. He's reaching the point of only being usable in excellent matchups.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
