3 years agoOutfielder Michael Brantley seemed poised to hit the ground running in 2016 after a shoulder injury cost him the end of 2015. Instead, that shoulder injury didn't heal right, something not made better by his overeagerness to return to the field. What we all ended up with was only 39 at-bats from Brantley as he tried and tried to rehab his shoulder just to end up needing another surgery that ended his season. The team expects Brantley to be ready to go by the time Spring Training 2017 rolls around, which is good news for his potential fantasy owners. Assuming he is healthy--and this needs to be verified come draft day--look for him to return to the above average outfield production of his former years. He should even come at an injury discount, making him an even more attractive fantasy option.--Tony
