12/11:The New York Mets have talked to at least two teams about trading starting pitcher Matt Harvey, according to two sources. The Mets have a limited stash of prospects and limited payroll space as they look to address their needs for 2018. "They are willing to move him," one source said, "and they said they wanted to try and flip him for a reliever. They seemed more willing to move him then Robert Gsellman or Seth Lugo." Harvey's real-life and fantasy value have dropped significantly since he was an All-Star in 2013, and he couldn't bounce back in 2017 after having surgery. Harvey was a disappointing 5-7 with a 6.70 ERA ,and he missed significant time trying to come back from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The Dark Knight is a volatile fantasy asset with much more risk these days than reward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
