3/16:Washington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer (finger) probably won't be ready for opening day, according to manager Dusty Baker. It'll be interesting to see how last year's NL Cy Young winner's altered three-finger fastball affects his dominance. As long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks while pitching in spring games, Scherzer should be ready shortly after the regular season starts. If this injury causes Scherzer to fall at all in drafts in the early rounds, take advantage and scoop him up at a discount.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
