6 months agoWashington Nationals right-hander Max Scherzer went deep into the game but received a no-decision on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Scherzer logged eight innings, allowing three runs on seven hits to go along with seven strikeouts. The ace's ERA sits at 3.33 on the season thus far, but owners shouldn't be concerned. Scherzer has a proven track record, he is still pitching deep into games and is still racking up plenty of strikeouts. Start him with confidence in his next trip to the mound against the Miami Marlins this weekend.--Adam
