12/16:Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer "has long since fully healed from the neck/calf/hamstring issues he had late in the season," according to Mark Zuckerman of MASN. Scherzer struggled with a hamstring injury at the end of the 2017 season and had cramps that followed over to the playoffs as well. The talented right-hander went 16-6 with a 2.51 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 268 strikeouts in 200 2/3 innings in 2017, winning his third Cy Young and second straight.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
