Matthew Stafford 2018 Outlook: The Undervalued Constant
6 years agoFor those of you that follow the methodology of waiting on quarterbacks in drafts, there is always one name you can count on to fall but will always outplay his ADP. If Matthew Stafford has been a target of yours in previous years, please raise your hand.
Matthew Stafford has been the poster boy for consistent quarterbacks the past few seasons, but not only has he been consistent, he has been an amazing value. In 2016 and last season Stafford was the QB15 in drafts but finished as the QB7. In 2015, Stafford was the QB12 in drafts but finished as QB9. The best part about Stafford’s value in 2018 is the revamped run game the Lions worked on this off-season. Stafford has always been a good quarterback, even great at times. Stafford has never had a run game that was even above average except for one season. We are about to see Stafford’s best season yet.
