2 years agoFor the most part this season, the New York Jets three-headed backfield has been one to avoid for fantasy purposes. The combination of running backs Matt Forte, Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire have made it difficult to project just who is going to be the one to reach the end zone in a given game. While Forte and Powell have been near even in total touches over the last few weeks, Forte seems to be the better fantasy bet. In two of the last three games, Forte has scored a minimum of 16.60 points in half-point PPR scoring formats. In Week 14, the Jets get to take on the Denver Broncos, who have allowed big games to Kenyan Drake and Marshawn Lynch over the last two weeks. Forte can be started as an RB2 while Powell should be treated as more of a flex option.--John Smith
