2 years agoEven though New York Jets running back Matt Forte was active for Week 15’s game against the New Orleans Saints, he wasn’t a recommended fantasy play. We hope you listened. Forte saw only seven carries, gaining a measly 24 yards (3.4 yards per carry) while adding two catches for 10 yards on five targets. Although the game was closer than expected, Forte still ceded a lot of work to running back mates Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire. All three are touchdown-dependent fantasy players, but perhaps none more so than Forte, who has trouble creating things on his own at his age. He’ll again be a dicey flex play with RB2 touchdown-dependent upside in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Chargers.--John Smith
