Matt Duffy May Be Slowed By Injury Again
7 years agoMatt Duffy missed the whole 2017 season with a heel injury. He only managed 91 games between two teams in 2016. If he is healthy, he has shown some potential. In his last healthy season in 2015, he would bat .295 with 12 home runs and 12 stolen bases. He will be 27 years old when the 2018 season starts where he hopes the multiple surgeries and season off will have him healthy enough to see if he can build upon the promise of his lone full season. He is expected to start at third base for the Rays so he does have some value in deeper leagues or AL-only.
