3/19:Marlins' third baseman Martin Prado is not expected to be ready for Opening Day, according to the team's official website. Prado, who led the team with a .305 average last season, injured his calf while trying to beat out a ground ball in the World Baseball Classic on Wednesday. The team has not announced a timetable for his return, but Marlins' skipper Don Mattingly said the team doesn't want to rush him back. Prado's injury sets up a competition between Derek Dietrich and Miguel Rojas for the 3B position, though the team could also look outside of the organization. Prado's .305 average ranked eighth in the NL in 2016 and his 183 hits led all Marlins.--Steven Slivka - RotoBaller
