7/16:Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marco Estrada may not have been saddled with the loss on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t contribute to his team's defeat. Estrada was once again knocked around; this time he allowed four earned runs on five hits and four walks over 3 2/3 innings pitched while striking out five. To say he’s been struggling lately would be an understatement. Estrada looked fantastic over the season’s first two months; legitimately serving as likely the second-best pitcher on your fantasy team (at worst). Since the calendar flipped to June, though, Estrada has pitched only one quality start and owns a 9.46 ERA, 2.13 WHIP, 6.12 BB/9, and 1.45 K/BB. At this point, everyone is aware of his struggles and it’s gone on for too long to bet on a rebound in given start. Your best move is likely to stash on your bench and hope he turns it around.--Andrew Bua - RotoBaller
