7/18:Los Angeles Dodgers manager has informed management that he plans to use newly-acquired shortstop Manny Machado at both shortstop and third base. Machado is already fantasy eligible at both positions, so it won't make any difference in fantasy leagues. What it does is give the Dodgers more options. If Justin Turner needs a day off at third, Machado can shift to the hot corner and Chris Taylor can play the 6, leaving a spot open in center field for someone like Andrew Toles or Joc Pederson. Machado was already one of the most productive all-around shortstops in the league, but he should be even more productive moving from the worst team in baseball to the first-place team in the National League West.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
