Malcolm Brogdon 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoIndiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon won the Rookie of the Year award with the Milwaukee Bucks, but after three seasons with the team, he chose to leave for Indiana. Brogdon will take over the starting spot that was opened by Bojan Bogdanovic signing in Utah. Expect Brogdon to put up strong numbers in his new digs, especially with guard Victor Oladipo (quad) expected to be out until December or January. Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 42.6 percent from three. I think Brogdon's percentages should fall off a little with an expanded offensive load this season, especially in the Oladipo-less times, but an increase in usage should result in higher averages in points and assists this season. Brogdon is being drafted outside of the top-60 right now; if you have a chance to draft him around there, you have to do it.
