4 years agoAfter a breakout rookie season, 23-year-old Maikel Franco should be primed for a monster 2016 campaign at the hot corner. Franco put the league on notice last year behind a .280/.343/.497 slash line, compiling an impressive¬†14 HR and 50 RBI while appearing in only 80 games, and looks poised to build on those numbers as the unofficial leader of this underwhelming Phillies team. Any lingering concerns about Franco's minor wrist injury (non-displaced fracture) from last season should be disregarded after he came back and crushed it over the Phillies' last three games of 2015. He's also had plenty of time to recover in the off-season. Maikel Franco could be a steal on draft day in the mid-to-late rounds as he's very likely to emerge as a top-10 third baseman this season.  --Steven Dilakian - RotoBaller
