5 months agoThe New York Yankees began their Subway Series doubleheader with a comfortable victory Tuesday afternoon in the Bronx. They poured out 12 runs en route to victory, with a quarter of those coming off the leading AL All-Star candidate at first base, Luke Voit. The 28-year-old smacked a go-ahead three-run blast to left, his 16th of the season. Voit could very well play again in the second game of the doubleheader, but his work is more than done. Voit continues to be an incredibly reliable starter for the Yankees and could very well be rewarded with a starting position in next month's All-Star game.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
