Lou Williams 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams picked up his second NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2017-18 proving once again his status as one of the league's most exciting bench players and scorers. He averaged a career-high 22.9 points last season, starting only 17 games. Sweet Lou also averaged a career-best 32.8 minutes and 5.3 assists, while shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from three-point range. Avery Bradley, Milos Teodosic, Patrick Beverley, and Danilo Gallinari all missed significant time, so Williams likely won't reach the same scoring heights again, but he remains capable of exploding every given night, which still makes him a tempting fantasy option. He signed a three-year extension with the Clippers back in February, so the franchise clearly sees him as an integral part of the team. You could certainly do worse come draft day when picking your guards.
