Logan Wilson 2022 NFL Player Outlook: Underrated Despite A 2021 Breakout
2 years agoWe (Rotoballer) beat the drum on Cincinnati Bengals linebacker, Logan Wilson, pretty hard last summer, and boy did he deliver. Despite missing four full games and the better part of two others with injuries in 2021, the Wyoming product finished the season 30th amongst LBs in total tackles (100), and he tied for first in interceptions (four) at his position. Had Wilson played a full 17 games, he was on pace to finish ranked tenth amongst LBs in total tackles and first in interceptions during his first year as a full-time starter. We also believe there is room for growth in Wilson's game. The former Cowboy's usage in the Bengals' defense increased throughout the 2021 season, and during the playoffs, he was on the field for every defensive snap. The 25-year-old averaged 9.75 tackles per game in those playoffs, and he notched another interception. Had Wilson's playoff usage and pace stretched over an entire season, he would've finished fifth in tackles and first in interceptions at his position. That's the kind of upside Wilson has if all goes according to plan.
