2 years agoA's reliever Liam Hendriks earned his first save of the season on Wednesday in the A's 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers. Hendriks entered with one out in the ninth inning after Ryan Dull gave up two earned runs in the frame. Regular closer Blake Treinen has gotten a lot of work lately, so it seems like this was a one time thing for the 28-year-old reliever. Fantasy owners in desperate need of saves or holds could look at Hendriks, but he is very unlikely to get more than a handful of save opportunities going forward. Plus, his 4.43 ERA and 1.31 WHIP on the year leave lots to be desired.--Andy Patton - RotoBaller
