Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Kyle Lohse officially announced his retirement from baseball on Thursday. Lohse never appeared above Triple-A for the Royals, but it ends a ride of 16 professional seasons. Lohse posted one excellent season in 2012 and a handful of above-average seasons with the Cardinals and Brewers, but he hadn’t pitched more than 10 innings in the majors since 2015. He finishes up his career with 147 wins and 1,615 strikeouts.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
