4/17:In his seventh appearance with the Chicago Cubs, Koji Uehara surrendered three runs as the team succumbed to a three-game Wrigley Field sweep at the hands of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 42-year-old gave up two walks, a double and a single before getting pulled without inducing a single out. One run was already home, but Hector Rondon, Uehara’s replacement, couldn’t hold two more runs from scoring as the Pirates exited the inning holding a 3-1 lead. Uehara’s sudden meltdown continues Chicago’s early-season woes, as their record is now 6-6 through 12 games.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
