3/15:Kevin Maitan comes stateside from Venezuela as one of the highest-touted prospects in recent memory. He almost has the hype around him that Yoan Moncada carried with him. The 16-year-old shortstop has more than enough to offer to the Braves in the coming years. He has massive power potential, great contact ability and defensive prowess that should allow him to stay at the position. He looks and plays like much older than he truly is, and the sky is truly the limit when projecting his future. No matter where Maitan ends up on the playing field, he can be elite. There are risks associated with younger players moving stateside, but he has the swagger to his demeanor that suggests he will adapt rather quickly. His transition rate and physical growth are the two primary tools to watch moving forward. He can be elite in four out of the five tools, with speed being the only thing he is highly unlikely to be elite in.--Joshua Schwager
